Product Introduction of the WIA

W1A is prepared by grafting maleic anhydride by POE reaction. Since it introduces a strongly polar side group (maleic anhydride) on the main chain of POE molecule, maleic anhydride grafted POE can become a polar material. A bridge for adhesion and compatibility with non-polar materials. In the application of nylon + glass fiber modification, it can react with the glass fiber after surface treatment to improve the compatibility of nylon and glass fiber, thereby improving the tensile strength and impact strength of nylon. W1A can be used as both a compatibilizer and a toughening agent. As a nylon compatibilizer, it is also suitable for PA/PE and PA/PP alloys, which can improve the toughness of the alloy. As a nylon toughening agent, its low temperature The performance is very superior, the impact strength of PA6+15%W1A at -40℃ can be maintained at 35-40% of the impact at room temperature.

Suggested dose:The dose (5-25%) may be increased or decreased properly according to the toughness requirements and by taking the cost into consideration.3-10% shall be adopted for PA6/PA66 reinforcing and toughening, while 5% shall be adopted for the compatibilizer of nylon and polypropylene/polyethylene alloy.

Packaging, storage and transportation:20kg kraft bag with internal plastic bag. This product shall be treated as non-hazardous article and be stored or transported under dry conditions, and sunlight and rain shall be avoided.

Characterisitic

W1A is ethylene elastomer with functionalized maleic anhydride,which is especially suitable for super-tough or cold-resistant nylon.

Applications

1.Be used for PA6 or PA66 compatibilizing or toughening. Increase the impact resistance and processability of nylon,decrease the water absorption,greatly improve the cold-resistance.
2.Be used for the compatibilizer of nylon and polypropylene/polyethylene alloy.
Be used for the macromolecular modifier(couling agent)of mineral-filled or grass-flber-filled nylon.
